Denver Public Health Publishes New Substance Use Exposure Dashboard

Friday, April 20, 2018

Screenshot of Substance Use Exposure Dashboard for DenverDenver Public Health today published the Substance Use Exposure Dashboard, an interactive tool presenting information about the health impacts of substance use (alcohol, marijuana and opioids) in Denver County.

Dashboard data comes from calls made to Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center’s Poison Help Line, a 24-hour, free, immediate assessment and advice line for people concerned about their exposures to poisons and drugs across the region. Data will be updated annually, and information for additional counties in Colorado will be added later this year.

This is the first interactive dashboard Denver Public Health has published. It was created in collaboration with RMPDC and Denver Department of Public Health & Environment, which funded this initiative through revenue from the special sales tax on retail marijuana.
