A travel consultation is required for:
- All prescription medications (Malaria, traveler's diarrhea and high altitude sickness medications).
- Yellow Fever vaccine.
- Review of your travel itinerary and vaccine recommendations.
Travel consultation appointments are in high demand and fill up quickly. Consider scheduling your appointment at least 8 weeks before your trip.
Please note: Travel prescriptions can no longer be filled at any Denver Health pharmacy location. We apologize for the inconvenience and are happy to send your prescriptions to another pharmacy of your choice.
Prescription medications and Yellow Fever vaccine require a travel consult appointment. All other vaccines are available on a walk-in basis. For walk–ins: you will need to know what vaccines you need when you arrive. Recommendations for travel vaccines require a travel consultation.
If you have questions on whether you need to schedule a consultation appointment, call the clinic 303-602-3520.
